Beni Sabti was born in Tehran in 1972 and fled to Israel with his family in 1987, at fifteen, escaping the persecution of Iran's Jews. In the IDF he led the building of the Spokesperson's Persian-language platforms, made to speak directly to the Iranian people, and today he is an Iran researcher at INSS and one of Israel's most recognisable Persian-speaking voices. His message to Iranians is that Israel's only real friends in the region are the Iranian people themselves.
