Masih Alinejad

Iranian-American journalist and women's-rights activist — a target of the regime's kidnap and murder plots

Masih Alinejad is an Iranian-American journalist whose “My Stealthy Freedom” and “White Wednesdays” movements gave voice to Iranian women defying compulsory hijab. The Islamic Republic answered with a kidnap plot on U.S. soil and a murder-for-hire scheme, both foiled. She tells Israeli and Jewish audiences plainly that Iranians and Israelis face the same enemy in the regime — and she condemned Hamas's October 7 sexual violence when many activists stayed silent.
