Saeed Ghasseminejad is an Iranian-American economist and senior Iran adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. In September 2025 he led the first Iranian opposition delegation to Israel — a team sent on behalf of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi — to lay the groundwork for the Cyrus Accords, a future peace between Israel and a free Iran. He tells Israelis plainly that Iranians see them not as an enemy but as a strategic partner for the day the Islamic Republic is gone.
